🐄 Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Farm Officer, you’ll

✅ Coordinate daily farm operations ensuring animal welfare and safety
✅ Lead a small team (2–3 people) and act as second-in-command in the absence of the supervisor
✅ Document animal movements and communicate updates across the team
✅ Use MOBBLE software app to track livestock health and data
✅ Perform tasks such as feeding, cleaning, drenching, vaccination, and crutching
✅ Handle livestock using low-stress techniques
✅ Operate and maintain farm machinery including tractors, mowers, forklifts, seeding & spraying equipment
✅ Maintain safety and farm biosecurity compliance
✅ Perform animal breeding practices and monthly stock takes
✅ Carry out maintenance including welding, minor repairs, and servicing

📋 Eligibility Criteria

🔹 Year 12 or Certificate III with minimum 3 years of farm experience
🔹 Experience supervising or leading a team
🔹 Skilled in livestock handling, crutching, tractor and small equipment operation
🔹 Knowledge of OH&S guidelines, farm biosecurity protocols
🔹 Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
🔹 Chainsaw ticket required or ability to obtain one
